Where to sleep near the Avignon Festival
During the festival Avignon fills up and the streets stay lively late. We are across the Rhône, ten minutes from the Palais des Papes, with private parking, a walled garden and a pool.
Ten minutes away, across the Rhône
Villeneuve-lès-Avignon faces Avignon from the other bank of the Rhône, in the Gard. The Palais des Papes is ten minutes away, so are the town centre and the Avignon TGV station. You cross the river for the show and cross back to sleep.
Park once, and forget the car
The house has private parking. You arrive, leave the car and pick it up again when you go. During the festival that is what changes the day: no circling the block for a space.
Coming back after the show
The garden is walled, the pool is outdoors, the rooms are air-conditioned and Wi-Fi covers the house. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out until 11am. Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 10am, so a late night still leaves room to sleep.
Four people in one suite
Three suites sleep four. Suite B is 40 m² on the ground floor, with a sofa bed, a shower and a bath. Suite E — Duplex is 45 m² on the first floor, with a mezzanine, a sofa bed and two bathrooms. Suite F — Terrace is 45 m² on the first floor, with a private terrace looking onto the garden.
A company, a family, the whole house
The entire house can be booked privately for up to 18 people. It holds nine rooms and suites, no two alike, and a contemporary art collection hung throughout. Between shows, the Chartreuse du Val de Bénédiction and Fort Saint-André are within walking distance, and the Pont du Gard is 25 minutes away.
How far is the Palais des Papes?
Ten minutes. Avignon town centre and the Avignon TGV station are also ten minutes away.

Yes, the house has private parking.
